How fees are calculated. - Salary-based Percentages and Fixed

Our pricing incentivizes client-vendor collaboration, transparency, high-impact results, and mutual ROI for AstroHire and our clients. Most agreements are priced by applying a pre-agreed percentage of the new hire’s first-year base salary. We will also consider fixed pricing (not tied to percentages) for clients who prefer more predictability and have multiple open positions with similar requirements and wages.

Full Service Retained Searches - Executives & Sr. Leaders

AstroHire has earned trusted advisor status with clients that have needs for executive leadership or strategic specialized roles.  A senior retained recruiter(s) with prior CxO experience formulates multichannel search strategies, proposes screening criteria, positions the employer’s value to inspire candidate interest, manages the interview and scoring process, liaises in fair negotiation, and accelerates the time-to-hire.

Retained searches provide AstroHire’s best replacement guarantee. Searches kick-off when the client pays an upfront retainer fee to ensure their mutual commitment of time and resources. The remaining fees are split across pre-agreed key success milestones such as achieving timing goals, reaching a consensus shortlist of finalist candidates, job offer acceptance and successful new hire onboarding. 

Majority Contingent with Minimum Engagement Fee

Many companies prefer a hybrid ‘Container Search’ agreement because both parties have “skin in the game” from the start. Contingency recruiting involves hiring a firm to locate candidates to fill lower to mid-level open roles. AstroHire recruiters are motivated to work with your HR and hiring managers to ensure efficiency and mutual success.  Clients pay an upfront engagement fee to cover recruitment AstroHire’s minimum costs to employ recruiters and technologies. The remaining lion’s share of the payment is invoiced upon a new hire’s start date. The recruiter invoices the balance upon the final candidate’s job offer acceptance.
